BoYcOtT tHe eLeCtIoNs..

Seriously, this is the step that needs to be taken. Let us all deprive the politicians of the only thing they are interested in.
And we should be voting for what? To get another bunch of inept, self-serving, power-hungry, uneducated cowards into the office? A gang of morons will appear on the site for "SOUND-BYTES", will do "KADE SHABDO MEIN NINDA" on this crime, have some "CHARCHA" on a few TV channels, and all will be forgotten again within a week.
The spirit of Mumbai is NOT an excuse for those in power to shun their duty. Fine, we are enthusiastic, positive and hard-working individuals. So what are they doing, testing our ability to bounce back in action? I think we have proved that enough number of times. The Spirit is being trampled upon, and serious steps need to be taken if the government does not want the economic capital of India to grind to a halt.
Let us all Mumbaikars stand united, and refuse to vote until visible security measures are taken, and all those responsible for this heinous deed are suitably punished.

PASS IT ON, IT IS HIGH TIME WE TAKE A STAND!

I've been avoiding the media for the last two days. I didn't want to face it, I guess. Beyond the usual "strongly condemn" speeches, it just gets a bit too gory...

Today, I bought all the newspapers of the stand. And I read. Everything. There's an insane feeling of helplessness that's overcome. It's ugly. I don't know what to do.

Thats the deal Mihir.. None of us really know what to do.. We are angry and upset for a few days, and within a week our daily routines are resumed.. But it is high time that a serious action is taken.. I think the time has come for us to take the matter in our own hands, by NOT letting the politicians get away with verbal assurances.

There was a proposal to introduce the "no vote" option during polls, to register the number of people actually deciding to not vote for any canditate. That never went through, for some reason...
